... the ER. I wasn't at home at the time of the incident. Apparently this is the result of a donkey ride gone awry.
Carter has a scraped up nose, a fat lip and...
a broken arm. He broke both bones in his forearm clean through.
Right now he has a "half" cast until our appt. with the orthopedic surgeons tomorrow. Hopefully after the X-Rays, they will determine things are good enough for a permanent hard cast. I am also hopeful that we can go for the water-proof option.
But don't feel too sorry for him - it hasn't taken him long to figure out how the sympathy game works... :) I think he'll be just fine.

The water proof cast are wonderful. Caylyn had one for 4 weeks. It was $70 more that they had to pay but was well worth it. If you don't get a water proof cast they have a nice bag thing to put over it so you can still take a bath.
